Excursion 1: Enjoy a driving tour up to Beachy Head, the highest sea cliff at 531m. It features stunning white cliffs, which are part of the Seven Sisters and a prominent backdrop in the South Downs, and is a popular spot for walking, cycling, and visiting the famous lighthouse. The area's geology is the result of ancient sea beds, and the name itself is a corruption of the French for "beautiful headland". Then head off to Brighton for a few hours of free time to explore one of our most famous seaside towns.

Excursion 2: Royal Tunbridge Wells is a stunning town, with beautiful architecture, a fascinating history and a plethora of ways to spend your time. One of the most famous places in Royal Tunbridge Wells, the Pantiles is a historic Georgian collonaded walkway. Home to over 70 cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, it’s one of the most-visited places in the town. It’s also where you’ll find the Chalybeate Spring, the iconic spring discovered in 1606 that put the town on the map.

The Spa Valley Railway is a short walk from the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells and takes you on a picturesque railway journey through part of Kent and Sussex.

Enjoy lovely views as the steam or heritage diesel train winds through five miles of the countryside from Tunbridge Wells to Eridge and back, with plenty to see and do if you choose to disembark along the way.
