Tewkesbury Market & Carvery, Shopping,Sightseeing & Food all in one

1 Days from just £35.00

Spend a day with us beside the River Severn in the beautiful, vibrant market town of Tewkesbury. Stroll along the river, explore some of the historic sights, shop at eclectic mix of specialist shops or the twice-weekly market before relaxing with lunch and a well-earned drink!

Right in the middle of town is Tewkesbury Abbey; an inposing feature over the town's landscape for 900 years. Famous for its fine Norman tower, ornate 12th Century ceilings and stunning stained glass window, Tewkesbury Abbey is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Gloucestershire. For Greenliners keen to learn more about our destination, why not head next to the town's museum or Heritage Centre?

Tewkesbury is also a great destination for some retail therapy. The twice-weekly market (Weds and Sat) in Spring Gardens just off the High Street is joined on the second Saturday of every month (except Jan) by a Craft and Farmer's market in Abbey Lawns. The town is also renowned for its specialist shops, including book and music shops, a delicatessen and traditional sweet shop!
