Nottingham River Cruise
2hr Winter Warmer Lunch
1 Days from just
£50.00
Spend an afternoon cruising down one of England's major and most scenic rivers, the Trent, with a lovely 'Winter Warmer' lunch before finishing the day with some free time to look around the world-renowned medieval city of Nottingham.
Flowing from its source in Staffordshire, the Trent winds through the Midlands taking places such as in Stoke-on-Trent, Burton and most importantly for us, Nottingham, before emptying into the North Sea at the Humber Estuary. The river, the third longest in the UK, has been considered an important waterway since the Romans and was regularly used by the Vikings to attack Nottingham.
The Princess Cruises take in some of the Trent's best scenery, taking in the Lady Bay Bridge, the City and County Ground stadiums, Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, County Hall, the Victoria Embankment and under Wilford Suspension and Toll Bridges on the route upstream. Turning at the stunning Wilford Church, our cruise turns downstream taking it Holme Pierrepoint Watersports Centre and Nottingham Sailing Club. Throughout, you'll be able to enjoy a delicious two-course table service meal fully included in your trip.
