Our day begins aboard the Sabrina River Cruise with a 45 minute cruise along the Severn. The cruise takes in some stunning riverside views, improved further from the top deck by the boat's retractable roof and sides. Travelling in full comfort, expect an exemplary level of attention from the crew the moment you step on board and continues throughout the trip until we disembark in central Shrewsbury.
Home to Britain's favourite market (2018, 2023 and 2024), Shrewsbury offers visitors great culture, scenery and history. Held beneath the town's iconic clocktower, Shrewsbury Indoor Market is home to artisan producers, vintage and retro sellers, quality gift boutiques, artists and craftspeople thriving alongside traditional fruit and veg stalls as well as a century-old family butchers.

At the other end is the Anglo-Saxon Shrewsbury Abbey, whose buildings largely survived the Dissolution of the Monasteries under King Henry VIII and provided the home of the fictional medieval monk of tv. literature and radio, Brother Cadfael.
