Get the festive feeling and spoil yourself and your loved ones as a handmade, historical and magical experience awaits with 70 traders situated in the square around the Town Hall, New Arcade and Forum. Discover unique, locally made produce, handmade crafts, jewellery and stocking fillers galore! All of this under the shadow of a beautifully decorated and illuminated Christmas tree, right in the Square. 

Once you've explored the market, the ancient and bewitching city of Chester awaits. Walk the same streets as Roman legionnaires, Viking  raiders and Norman invaders to explore a city full of unique treasures, vibrant cafe culture and fashionable shopping - all lit up for the festivities! Situated on the scenic River Dee, Chester has the most complete city walls, oldest racecourse and largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain, plus a millennium-old Cathedral. It's more a case of whether there's time to take it all in in just one visit to this stunning city.
