Christmas comes early to the Peak District for the Bakewell Christmas Market Weekend. Enter the festive spirit in the beautiful surrounds of the Peak District National Park and explore over 100 stalls, gazebos and trailers full of festive fun, goodies and Christmas presents. 

As well as all the stalls and festive food and drink you'd expect, entertaiment will be provided by local brass and silver bands, choirs and a DJ. There's also amazing street entertainers and a return for James McKay and his owls, some of which he supplied for Harry Potter! 

While you're in Bakewell, be sure to take in some of its rich heritage and tradition. See the impressive stone buildings, a quaint five-arch Roman bridge, Grade I listed church, a museum and historic almshouses before relaxing in one of the town's cosy tearooms.
