Enjoy a day in the historic Cathedral city of Hereford before finishing your afternoon with a trip to Hop Pocket Shopping Village. 

The Cathedral is home to the famous Mappa Mundi, the largest surviving and elaborately illustrated 14th Century map that shows the history, geography and destiny of humanity as understood in medieval Christendom. The golden-stoned Cathedral also holds the world's largest chained library, from when books were so valuable they needed to be locked up. 

As well as it's historical sights, Hereford boasts some stunning architecture housing independent shops, cafes, restaurants and attractions. There's also opportunities to take a delightful stroll beside the river or through the scenic meadows that border the River Wye. 

On our way back we'll be stopping off at Hop Pocket Shopping Village; a hidden gem filled with unique gifts, homeware, local produce and artisan crafts. A perfect mix of history, shopping and traditional English charm!
